Vanda and Phil, two unlikely people to join in a relationship. Biggest hurdles, she fears wolves, he's a wolf, she's forbidden fruit he's a fruit eater. LOLNot my favorite pairing, but it was short and added a pivotal move in the war. I missed the snark in a coupe of the other books.Good narratorJumping into a series already in progress is a tricky thing to do. Forbidden Nights with a Vampire is the seventh book in the Love at Stake series by Kerrelyn Sparks. I figured that while there is an overarching storyline throughout the series all the books could be read as standalones if necessary. I lucked out because this is exactly the case here. I was able to follow along with the story and understand the world it was set in just fine. So the fact that I jumped into the series on book 7

BEST BEST BEST novel so far in the series!!! Much better than my previous fave Be Still my Vampire Heart. I was so sure i would hate Vanda but hell, i can be so wrong sometimes.
