Criticize Epithetical Books Invincible (Chronicles of Nick #2)
HOLY FRIGGIN' CRAP! - This book was mindbogglingly amazing! The second installment to the Dark-Hunter spin off young ydult series, Chronicles of Nick, the plot of Invincible was just as amazing as Infinity's. I couldn't help but fall in love all the more with this amazing character, Nick Gautier. He had captured my adoration and love all the way back to the first novel of the Dark-Hunter series, Night Pleasures, and he continued to do so off-and-on throughout the twenty three books of the

I'm not really buying one of the major conflicts of this book. Nick is blackmailed into stealing people's personal items and neither A) goes to his very powerful and knowledgeable supernatural protector Kirian about it, nor B) understands that a clearly magical/evil person wants those things in order to do something evil and magical to those people, despite the fact that earlier in this same book, someone sternly warned him that personal items could be used to control, kill, and otherwise wreak

I am a little conflicted by this book. It picked up right where the first one finished, which was good once I recalled what had happened in the first book, and more importantly, how it had ended. The plot twists were interesting, along with a slight other storyline that teased its way through, leaving the reader guessing. The climax felt awfully rushed to me, and the resolution, sadly, resolved nothing. However, given the long game the author is playing with the storyline, I think I will read

Really enjoying the next volume of Chronicles of Nick. In this book, Nick gains a new teacher, Grim, who is teaching him divination and other arts. Discovers he doesn't have a knack for the pendulum sight but he can use a scrying mirror. He finds out the truth of his true nature from Caleb. There are numerous forces who wants him to turn evil because he is too good; he is also surrounded by his mother's love keeping his heart protected.New development: his mom is fired from her dancing job and

This is the second installment in the Chronicles of Nick. I love Sherrilyn's writing and the sarcasm/wit infused in her books. This series is a young adult prequel of sorts to her Dark Hunter series.

What would you do if you were unlocking powers that no human could even dream of having? This is a question that Nick Gautier had to figure out in Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon which is the second book in the series Chronicles of Nick. This book was a balance of science fiction and adventure. It deals with supernatural and mythical beings and takes place in a modern setting. It was a good book from the start to finish and I would read it again. There were a lot of different characters in the
