Relation Toward Books It's in His Kiss (Bridgertons #7)
IF IT'S IN HIS HEART... IT'S IN HIS KISS MEET OUR HERO... Gareth St. Clair is in a bind. His father, who detests him, is determined to beggar the St. Clair estates and ruin his inheritance. Gareth's sole bequest is an old family diary, which may or may not contain the secrets of his past... and the key to his future. The problem is—it's written in Italian, of which Gareth speaks not a word. MEET OUR HEROINE... All the ton agreed: there was no one quite like Hyacinth Bridgerton. She's fiendishly smart, devilishly outspoken, and according to Gareth, probably best in small doses. But there's something about her—something charming and vexing—that grabs him and won't quite let go... MEET POOR MR. MOZART... Or don't. But rest assured, he's spinning in his grave when Gareth and Hyacinth cross paths at the annual—and annually discordant—Smythe-Smith musicale. To Hyacinth, Gareth's every word seems a dare, and she offers to translate his diary, even though her Italian is slightly less than perfect. But as they delve into the mysterious text, they discover that the answers they seek lie not in the diary, but in each other... and that there is nothing as simple—or as complicated—as a single, perfect kiss.

You do have to love the Bridgertons. In book seven it is Hyacinth's turn to find romance in the person of Gareth St.Clair, long term rake, second son and at odds with his father. He does not sound like the best proposition on the town, but Hyacinth does not have a preference for any of the men she has met so far. This is really a fun series. It always revolves around the same family and the reader gets to know everyone well. Although this is Hyacinth's book her mother plays a big role, a coupleGareth St. Clair is in a predicament. His father hates him and is determined to ruin and begger the St. Clair estate and properties. His only living family member who loves him is his maternal grandmother, Lady Agatha Danbury. Picture his surprise when his brother willed his paternal grandmother's (Isabella Marinzeli St. Clair) diary. The only problem is it's written in Italian. Enter Hyacinth Bridgerton, the youngest Bridgerton daughter. Her mother, Violet, is at her wit's end trying to get

This one, to me, is quintessential Quinn. It has a simple plot with great characters- love Hyacinth, Garth, Lady Danbury. It is satisfying and lovely.Heres how I would order the books based on my preference after rereading:To Sir Phillip, With LoveThe Viscount Who Loved MeWhen He Was Wicked Its In His KissThe Duke and I Romancing Mr, Bridgerton An Offer From a Gentleman On the Way to the Wedding (still need to reread this so it could move up a space or two but very likely remains in the bottom
*** Reread 3rd May 2017 ***I adore Julia Quinn and her Bridgerton series. Her characters are so endearing and I love how she alters her writing style to fit each one of her female characters <3This last book in the Bridgerton series is one of my favorite. It tells the story of Hyacinth, the youngest Bridgerton. She's the only one that had to grow up without ever knowing her father. As such, she's been sheltered & spoiled by her mom and family to compensate for the absence of her father.
After crying my way through When He Was Wicked, I was more than grateful for the easy laughs and fun hijinks of Its in His Kiss. Hyacinth was a marvelous heroine, full of wit and mirth. And just like Ive said many times before, the entire Bridgerton family were what made the book special. Im still dying over Anthonys reaction to Gareth asking him for Hyacinths hand in marriage.Surprisingly though, I was not as invested in Hyacinth and Gareths romance as I expected to be. I did believe that they

Havia coisas que uma pessoa simplesmente sabia, sem ser capaz de as explicar.
