This may just be one of my favourite series by far! At first, I felt so scared for Theodosia when she found Ali Bubu in the museum! I could only imagine the feeling of finding a creepy old Egyptian man who happens to know so much about you where you live! To me, it was very odd that Theodosia's mother never told her about her interesting birthplace-which I hope to see Theodosia investigate more in the next book. I also found it very compelling that so many found out about Henry's discovery- TheBeing able to detect black magic isnt all tea and crumpetsand for Theodosia Throckmorton, it can be a decidedly tricky business! The amazing series continues as Theodosia deals with secret societies and her parents and grandmother. She is a bright girl with more on her plate then anyone should be able to handle, but she does with sharp with and a little help from others.
really liked it. Henry coming back from school, a new character who seems to know all, and she can't stay out of trouble.
Theodosia is on another adventure in this third novel in the series. Theodosia visits an Egyptian magicians magic show along with Will and his brothers and learns that the Great Awi Bubu may be more of a magician than he lets on. Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus by R. L. LaFevers is the third in this middle grade paranormal mystery series. It's one of the very short list of series I am actively following. It also breaks my usual rule of only reading series books that can be read out of order.In book three, Theodosia is still trying to pick up the pieces from the Staff of Osiris mess. Wonderful as all Theodosia stories are. This one was packed with a lot of action, but it also had quite a few interesting twists and turns. As always, I can't wait to see what happens next.
