Commentary Supposing Books The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (Daniel X #1)

He was born with great power
The greatest superpower of all isn't to be part spider, part man, or to cast magic spells--the greatest power is the power to create.

Daniel X has that power.

And a deadly secret
Daniel's secret abilities - like being able to manipulate objects and animals with his mind or to recreate himself in any shape he chooses - have helped him survive. But Daniel doesn't have a normal life. He is the protector of the earth, the Alien Hunter, with a mission beyond anyone's imagining.

Now the fate of the world rests on Daniel X
From the day that his parents were brutally murdered before his very eyes, Daniel has used his unique gifts to hunt down their assassin. Finally, with the help of The List, bequeathed to him in his parents' dying breath, he is closing in on the killer.

Now, on his own, he vows to take on his father's mission - and to take vengeance in the process.

Comment On Of Books The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (Daniel X #1)
I have read some of the reviews on this book and it seems like not a lot of people enjoyed it... I picked this up on audiobook and I enjoyed it, especially the whole sound effects, I liked Daniel X, I liked that he let us know from the beginning that he is an Alien and that he is hunting Seth, Seth is another alien that has been sequestering children and when they get of age he sells them to the highest bidder, I felt bad from Daniel at times, he was so lonely and his parents had been killed, I

Daniel X is one badass dude. He has almost every power you'd want:- Telepathy,- The instantaneous (temporary) creation and manipulation of animate and inanimate objects,- Super-Human Durability, Strength, and SpeedUnfortunately for Daniel, all that's moot because Daniel's book? Yeah, pretty shitty. The powers Danny's without?- ANY SORT of character depth/building- Well-constructed, interesting story line- The ability to make it rain (throw some Ds on that, throw some Ds)What pisses me off about

An amazingly quick read. It felt more like a saturday morning cartoon than a novel. It was light and teen-friendly without worrying about anything inappropriate. It deals with Daniel, an alien-hunter and his exploits in hunting a particular alien. It has short, choppy chapters and I read the whole thing (200+ pages) waiting for a plane in about 2 hours. It has a "Men in Black" kind of feel to it - almost comic-like, rather than serious. But I can't get over how fast it reads. I am disappointed

I'm going to be honest. I read this book and still don't even know what was going on. It jumped around so much. Probably because the chapters were so quick, but it seemed like he was trying to fit a longer story into fewer pages. One minute Daniel is a toddler then an alien hunter then he 's going after 6 then tricked by Phoebe then on an alien planet then finds his family. Anyone of those could have been its own book. The descriptions came off pretty vague and nothing really stuck. He didn't do

This is so the worst book known to man. I would say it is MIB meet Naked Gun 2 1/2. I really can not believe this book. Of course I choose it to read with my sister after getting into the Maximum Ride series. He is after all a reputable writer. Everyone has a few bad novels right. I even looked past the upset with the "Final Warning" in the Max Ride series. Anyway words can not describe how awful this book is. Suffice it to say I will not be finishing it. Can't even finish it. The writing

The boys are going to like this one...aliens, gore, and a superhero 15 year old...I'll definitely order a copy for the media center.

Just wow. THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X sucks so hard it could pull a black hole inside out. There is, perhaps, a clever germ of an idea to be found somewhere in all this mess, but... This book wouldn't even be publishable if it didn't have Patterson's name on it. And I'm guessing that his name on the cover is the only part of the book that Patterson actually wrote.
