OK HERE'S A BREAKDOWN:stuff i liked:-just a really, genuinely fun read tbh. i honestly can't think of the last YA fantasy book that made me yELL the way this one did-silas, duh-nathaniel and elisabeth's relationship (separately, they were nothing special. but together?? delightful). I thought that enemies to lovers was executed well enough (even if it waaaas kinda fast, but anyway) AND Nathaniel was snarky and mysterious without being a complete asshole, which is *oh* so rarestuff i disliked:
