Commentary In Pursuance Of Books The Hook Up (Game On #1)
The rules: no kissing on the mouth, no staying the night, no telling anyone, and above all… No falling in loveAnna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list. Confident and charming, he lives in the limelight and is way too gorgeous for his own good. If only she could ignore his heated stares and stop thinking about doing hot and dirty things with him. Easy, right?
Too bad he’s committed to making her break every rule…
Football has been good to Drew. It’s given him recognition, two National Championships, and the Heisman. But what he really craves is sexy yet prickly Anna Jones. Her cutting humor and blatant disregard for his fame turns him on like nothing else. But there’s one problem: she's shut him down. Completely.
That is until a chance encounter leads to the hottest sex of their lives, along with the possibility of something great. Unfortunately, Anna wants it to remain a hook up. Now it’s up to Drew to tempt her with more: more sex, more satisfaction, more time with him. Until she’s truly hooked. It's a good thing Drew knows all about winning.
All’s fair in love and football…Game on

4.5 Stars (Re-Read 6/29/2018)4 Stars (Originally Read 9/14/2014)Overall Opinion: This was another book that I had just left a star rating and not an actual review for, so I decided to give it a re-read. I don't remember it being so deep! We get into these characters on a deeper level then I'm used to with college athlete books. I think that was a good surprise! I love their dialogue. I also love how deeply they cared for and knew each other. I'm increasing my rating from 4 stars to 4.5, because
4.5 Stars Love, when it came for me, did not creep. No, it walked up to me, bold as you please, you know, just in case I wasn't paying attention. It did, however, slap me upside my head. If you're looking for your next NA Romance that's guaranteed to make you swoon, make you sweat, and make you smile, then you have definitely found your next read. Kristen Callihan is a new to me author, but will now be gracing my auto-buy shelf because she weaved a story that technically should have been 'been

5 Seeing Who You Are Through Eyes Others Stars * * * * * Spoiler FreeLearning who we are is such a challenge. We experience so much during our formative years and how we see ourselves from that time can leave a scar so deep...it can skew our perceptions emotionally. We may know we lost all the awkwardness or weight from early school years... we may know we are capable, smart and independent. We may also know we don't fit into the stereotypes of what our "place" is but emotionally... hat is so
4.5 stars The Hook Up is one of those books that has been on my TBR for FOREVER! All my friends loved it, and here I am, picking it up well over a year after its release. This, my friends, is a fail moment for me. I seem to be having a lot of those in the book world. Too many books and not enough time I say. My point- if you are a NA fan and are in the same boat as me, READ THIS BOOK! It was swoony, sweet, and sexy. Everything I love in a romance. Anna Jones is a dedicated college student and
***4 "Big Red" stars for Baylor and Jones*** I really don't know how to start this review... I feel i'm in loss of pretty words and it's difficult for me to describe the situation that Drew and Anna caught themselves up!!This was a very nice story that made me pass from many stages while i was reading it... I had heard so many good words about this book and i wanted so badly to read it, but at the same time something was holding me back and then one day i decided that it was about time...And i
Anna Jones and Drew Baylor meet in history of philosophy class. She has no interest in football; he's the star quarterback. And despite their attraction to each other, Anna uses their differences to keep them apart. Until the hook up. Drew is a god. Anna is a late-bloomer. Ignored during her high school years, she still carries baggage with her despite developing from ugly duckling to (almost) swan. Still curvy, she's no longer the awkward chubster with frizzy red hair and braces. I'm not a fan
